The Dark Armor
Sleek in engineering, but brilliant design
The mail owned an Intimidating presence, and empowering aura that calls to me.
The armor whispers to my mind, enticing me to become one with itself.
The power it could bring, the dominance it promises, it was all within my grasp.
A step closer, followed by another, impossible to control myself.
It was all here, and it could be mine.
Each step closer allowed the armor to beacon more and more so, I could not rasp my mind.
The armor began to grow so rapidly, it was like a machine.
The leather buckles snapped, and the inside spread open with ligaments like vines.
"Come!" The armor spoke, and then the world had a new meaning.
Hope became a weakness, and only the strong deserved a presence.
A black knight was born, and he had a world to confine.

This was for a poetry contest in my high school. I passed the first round but not the second unfortunately. However if I did win the second round, I would have to do the final in front of a TON of people. That would sux! XD
